Our Vision . . . to embrace the underserved female ex-offender
transitioning back into the community by providing services and
opportunities that will promote, empower and support the independence and
growth of the female ex-offender.
Our Mission . . . to develop and implement a systematic,
on-purpose
comprehensive approach to the specific social, emotional, economic and
spiritual needs of women who have been incarcerated.
Additionally, employing the concept of prevention and
intervention we will partner with successful community organizations,
expert consultants, along with seasoned role models who will provide
ongoing mentoring to ensure the total success of women who participate in
Meet "ME" At The Gate Empowerment Program.
Meet “ME” At The Gate Empowerment Program
is the vehicle which all of our programs; SOULWork (LifeChange
Institute), CAREERWork (Entrepreneurship & Career Development),
and HOMEWork (Exodus Transitional Housing & Home Ownership) are generated.
Its purpose is to provide the proper
setting to heal, be made whole and ultimately stimulated to grow in
many dimensions. Each woman will discover her personal power, talents,
aptitudes, skills and positive behaviors, then develop a confident
appreciation and love of these special characteristics while constantly
learning how to make use of this potential for the benefit of herself, her
family, and her community.
Involvement in Meet “ME” At The Gate
Empowerment Program will initiate what will become an ongoing process of
self-discovery and self-realization resulting in a positive self-image.

Meet the Founders
Revs.
Ernest & Rose Randolph
 |
Rose Randolph is one of North America's top visionaries
on women's empowerment. She along with her husband, Ernest are the
founders of Set Free Indeed! Empowerment Center, Inc., a non-profit
community development corporation inspired and designed to empower women
previously incarcerated. Many of these women have found themselves trapped
by a myriad of abuses; be it physical, emotional or chemical substance.
For nine years, Ernest and Rose held Bible studies and
special training programs at the Baltimore City Detention Center, Women's
Detention Center, Maryland Correctional Institution for Women, Maryland
Annex for Men, St. Ambrose Pre-Release Center and the Baltimore
Pre-Release Unit. Many lives were changed as a result of these programs,
but not maintained when the men and women returned to their communities. After
carefully examining these results, the conclusion became quite clear to create prison
aftercare empowerment services specializing in comprehensive human
development, mentoring and career oriented programs that would train and
develop the female ex-offender to return to her family and community as a
loving, caring and productive citizen. Thus, the birth of Set Free Indeed!
Empowerment Center, Inc.
Like many of the women Rose has encountered, she too has
personally experienced and overcame the pain and suffering of these same
abuses. Rose is committed to training and developing women to experience
and become all they desire through proven, structured programs
specifically written from a practical and spiritual perspective.
